Walmart Intends To Close Fabric Departments

I have a huge problem with Walmart closing down the fabric departments. Turns out I use it more than I would like to admit. I'm there once a week for sure. We have no quilt store in town, nor do we have any kind of fabric store in the area. The ladies that work in the fabric department in the West Memphis store indicates that the idea is to keep the fabric department open in the Amish area stores only.

Not only do I use the fabric department, but so do the local underpriviliged kids that are taking "home economics" in junior high school and have class projects. How the heck are they suppose to get fabric....online? I don't think so.

Some of the most loyal customers are senior citizens that feel safe in their local store and do not drive far from home.

Please take a moment and send Walmart as much email, letters etc indicating your concerns and/or outrage!
